SUSAN SCHMUTZ SMITH, D.D.S.

Dr. Susan Schmutz Smith began working with her father, "Dr. Joe", a local pediatric dentist, as a teenager. The more she watched her father, the more she realized she wanted to follow in his footsteps. After years of schooling she finally got that chance. In 2002 Susan opened up her own practice. She learned a great deal from her father and his more than 30 years of experience.

"I think the most important thing I learned from my father is to make my patients feel comfortable. Going to the dentist is not always a fun experience and if I can make it somewhat enjoyable I know I have done part of my job," Dr. Schmutz Smith notes.

Dr. Schmutz Smith is a second generation Nevadan. She attended BYU and then went on to Creighton Dental School.

She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Southern Nevada Dental Association and the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology.

She is a dedicated member of the community. She and her husband encourage their children to be active, positive role models.

CHRISTA WIRGES, D.D.S.

Dr. Christa Wirges is a longtime Nevadan. She attended Creighton University, in Omaha, Nebraska for her undergraduate studies, receiving her bachelor's degree in fine arts. She was accepted to Creighton Dental School, and completed her education in 2002.

Upon Graduation, Dr. Christa Wirges was eager to return to Las Vegas and begin practicing.

Dr. Christa Wirges is a member of the American Dental Association and the Southern Nevada Dental Association. In addition to her formal education she has completed two trips to the Dominican Republic in order to provide basic dental care to those in need.

With similar treatment philosophy's, Dr. Christa Wirges and Dr. Susan Smith have succeeded in creating a family-friendly dental practice. Patients range in age from two to ninety two.

BRENDA THOMAS, DENTAL HYGIENIST

A native Nevadan, Thomas graduated from the Community College of Southern Nevada with an Associates Degree in Applied Science. She enjoys spending time with her family camping, boating at the lake, and scrapbooking.

SHERRY SMITH, DENTAL HYGIENIST

Smith attended the Community College of Southern Nevada where she received an Associates Degree in Applied Science. A Las Vegas resident since 1989, Smith enjoys spending time with her husband of 12 years, her 9 year old son Brody and volunteering.
