Dr. Susan Schmutz Smith is a second generation Nevadan. She grew up in the Las Vegas valley and attended Chaparral High School. As a teenager she worked with her father, Dr. Joe, who was a local pediatric dentist. Working closely with her father gave her valuable experience and a love for dentistry. Dr. Smith graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and then received her Doctorate degree in Dentistry at Creighton University.
Since opening her practice in 2002, Dr. Smith has built strong relationships with her patients. She is conservative and caring with treatment, and concerned about her patient’s well-being. She understands the importance of educating the community on oral health as well as offering the best dental treatment possible. She is a member of the American Dental Association and the Southern Nevada Dental Association.
Dr. Alexis DeSilva was raised in the Las Vegas Valley and attended Bishop Gorman High School. Following high school, she went on to graduate from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and minor in Chemistry. Dr. DeSilva was then accepted into the UNLV School of Dental Medicine where she received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine.
Dr. DeSilva is now practicing in the Las Vegas Valley which she plans to make her forever home. She is currently a member of the American Dental Association and the Southern Nevada Dental Association. In her spare time she loves to travel and spend time with friends and family.
